Upside Gold Corp. (CSE: UG) (FSE: 47I) (OTCQB: UGODF) has announced the results of a comprehensive compilation of historic exploration data for its 10,115-hectare Kena Gold-Copper Property in southeastern British Columbia. The work, which integrated geological, geochemical, and geophysical surveys conducted from 1974 to the present, highlights a large gold-copper mineralized system that extends beyond the historic mineral resource estimate of 2.77 million inferred ounces at 0.486 g/t Au and 0.561 million indicated ounces at 0.544 g/t Au.

The compilation outlines a mineralized trend extending at least seven kilometres along strike, with significant expansion potential across the property. Multiple priority gold-copper drill targets have been identified for the 2026 program, including the potential to define a second major mineralized zone within the Kena Copper Zone. The updated digital 3D exploration model incorporates data from 24,200 core samples, which previously recorded only gold results. The systematic extraction of silver and copper data from historic analytical certificates revealed copper values up to 71,800 ppm and silver values up to 145 ppm, with over 2,900 samples exceeding 500 ppm Cu and over 2,650 samples exceeding 1 ppm Ag. These results occur within a drillhole database containing 6,300 samples grading greater than 0.25 g/t Au, with sample widths averaging 1.87 metres.

Integrating decades of exploration data into a modern 3D model is helping us identify areas where mineralization may extend beyond the historic resource and focus our 2026 drilling on the most promising expansion targets." The integration of mapped geology, structural interpretation, and geophysical surveys supports the conclusion that mineralization is structurally controlled by the Kena Deformation Zone, a major steeply dipping fault traceable for at least 11 kilometres. Induced polarization (IP) surveys identify zones of high chargeability and low resistivity that define disseminated pyrite-hosted mineralization along a four-kilometre strike length of the Kena lode gold body and an additional three kilometres to the southeast, suggesting a total strike length of at least seven kilometres.

Historic drilling of these anomalies outside the historic resource has returned wide intervals of gold and copper mineralization, including 117 metres of 0.22% Cu and 0.14 g/t Au, 88.69 metres of 0.13% Cu and 0.21 g/t Au, and 210 metres of 0.17% Cu and 0.13 g/t Au within the Kena Copper Zone, as well as 90 metres of 0.9 g/t Au and 115 metres of 0.67 g/t Au and 0.05% Cu in the adjacent South Gold Zone. The soil survey database is consistent with the geological model, with copper and gold anomalies spatially associated with favorable IP and magnetic signatures.

The compilation supports the company's conclusion that a major gold-copper mineralized system exists beyond the boundaries of the presently defined lode gold body and remains open laterally, along strike, and at depth. The majority of the first priority drill targets for 2026 will focus on testing along strike to the southeast within the Kena Copper Zone, with the goal of demonstrating sufficient continuity and grade to define a second major mineralized zone. Additionally, the southern half of the property, which has never undergone diamond drilling, shows potential for extending the mineralized system.
