Uranium Energy Corp. Commences Production at Burke Hollow, Expanding U.S. Uranium Operations

Uranium Energy Corp. (NYSE American: UEC) announced fiscal third-quarter 2026 results, highlighted by the commencement of production at the Burke Hollow in-situ recovery (ISR) project in South Texas. The company described Burke Hollow as the largest greenfield ISR uranium project to enter production in the United States in more than a decade. This milestone marks a significant expansion of UEC's domestic uranium operations and reinforces its position as America's largest and fastest growing uranium company.

UEC reported a debt-free balance sheet with $794 million in liquid assets, providing financial flexibility to advance its production growth. The company is progressing at its Christensen Ranch operation and development activities at the Ludeman and Sweetwater projects. These efforts are part of UEC's strategy to build what it describes as America's only vertically integrated uranium fuel supply chain, with progress at its planned uranium conversion facility through United States Uranium Refining & Conversion Corp.

The company also highlighted federal support for domestic nuclear fuel development through the Department of Energy's “Nuclear Dominance – 3 by 33” initiative. This initiative aims to strengthen the U.S. nuclear fuel supply chain and reduce reliance on foreign sources. UEC's expansion aligns with growing demand for reliable, carbon-free nuclear energy and the need for domestic uranium production to support national energy security.

In addition to its U.S. operations, UEC continues to advance its Roughrider uranium project in Saskatchewan, Canada, and its Alto Paraná titanium and vanadium project in Paraguay. These international projects diversify the company's portfolio and provide exposure to additional critical minerals. UEC's 100% unhedged uranium strategy allows it to fully benefit from uranium market fundamentals, which have been supported by increasing demand from nuclear power plants and supply constraints.

The commencement of production at Burke Hollow is a key milestone for UEC and the U.S. uranium industry. The project utilizes ISR technology, which is less environmentally impactful than conventional mining methods. As the largest greenfield ISR project to start production in over a decade, Burke Hollow represents a significant addition to domestic uranium supply capacity. UEC's total licensed production capacity across its Wyoming and South Texas platforms amounts to approximately 12 million pounds per year.

UEC's progress in building a vertically integrated supply chain, from mining to conversion, positions the company to capture more value and support the U.S. nuclear fuel cycle. The company's strong financial position and strategic assets make it a key player in the resurgence of the domestic nuclear industry.
