Verizon announced on July 22, 2026, that customers can now preorder Samsung's latest foldable devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, alongside the Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra2. The launch aims to combine Samsung's innovative folding technology with Verizon's simplified pricing structure, offering customers a straightforward way to access high-end devices without complex plan tiers.
The Galaxy Z Fold8, starting at $1,899.99, and the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, starting at $2,099.99, are designed for productivity and multitasking on expansive screens. Verizon is promoting these devices as ideal for busy routines, whether for work, streaming, or entertainment. The company is leveraging its Simplicity Plan, which eliminates network tiers and provides full device freedom on its 5G network.
Key promotions include the Galaxy Z Fold8 (256GB) for $60 per month over 48 months for new customers who switch to the Simplicity Plan, with no trade-in required. This offer includes $460 in promotional credits, reducing the monthly device payment to $30. The $30 monthly plan rate is achieved through Auto Pay and paper-free billing discounts ($10 savings) and switching a number from another carrier ($15 savings). Similarly, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra (256GB) is available for $35 per month after $420 in promotional credits over 48 months, requiring a new line on the Simplicity Plan with Auto Pay and a number transfer.
For existing customers, Verizon offers up to $1,100 off the Galaxy Z Fold8 or Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra when trading in an eligible device and upgrading to an Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plan on a 36-month payment plan. The trade-in phone must be active on the account for at least 60 days before purchase.
Verizon also introduced the Ultimate Bundle, where customers who buy a new Samsung phone on a payment plan or bring their own Samsung phone with a new line can get a Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Tab S10 FE at no cost. This requires adding a service line for each device at $15 per month with Auto Pay, and Verizon applies up to $650 in promotional credits per device over 36 months.
Additional offers include bringing your own Android phone to get a Galaxy Watch9 on us or a Galaxy Watch Ultra2 for as low as $8 per month. Accessories for the Galaxy Z series are available with up to 30% savings when bundled. Business customers can save up to $900 on the Galaxy Z8 series with a qualifying trade-in and a My Biz Plan.
Verizon is also enhancing customer rewards through its loyalty program, which provides monthly cash back in Verizon Dollars, daily surprises, and the elimination of device upgrade and activation fees. The Verizon Shine program offers weekly chances to win experiences, daily drops for concerts and events, and more.
For a limited time, customers purchasing a Galaxy Z Fold8 or Z Fold8 Ultra can get the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ (With Ads) Perk for six months on us with the Simplicity Plan or myPlan. Preorders began July 22 at Verizon stores, verizon.com, and the My Verizon app, with full retail availability on August 7.
