Vibes Massage & Spa has been named the winner in two categories of the 2026 Favorites of the Foothills Reader's Choice Awards: Favorite Massage/Spa Center and Favorite Aesthetician. The Tryon Daily Bulletin announced the winners in August 2026. This marks the spa's third consecutive year as Favorite Massage/Spa Center and its first year winning Favorite Aesthetician.
The annual Favorites of the Foothills awards invite readers to vote for their favorite local businesses, people, and organizations across Polk County, NC, including Tryon, Columbus, Saluda, and Mill Spring, as well as nearby Landrum and Campobello in upper Spartanburg County, SC. The newspaper reported that thousands of ballots were cast this year, reflecting strong community engagement.
For Vibes Massage & Spa, the dual recognition is significant because it demonstrates sustained customer satisfaction in a competitive local market. Winning the massage/spa category for three years running suggests consistent service quality, while the first-time aesthetician award signals that the spa's esthetician services have gained distinct traction among voters. The awards also highlight the spa's ability to compete across multiple service lines, from massage therapy to skincare.
Vibes Massage & Spa offers massage therapy, esthetician services, reflexology, and manicures & pedicures along with other spa treatments at its Columbus location, giving local clients access to a range of services in one beautiful and comfortable space. That breadth of offerings may help explain its appeal to voters who value convenience and variety.
The full list of winners is available on the Tryon Daily Bulletin website. Vibes Massage & Spa is a massage and spa center located in Columbus, NC, welcoming clients from all over the Foothills of North and South Carolina. The spa specializes in massage therapy and also offers esthetician services.
