Vingroup has been ranked 340th in TIME's World's Best Companies 2026, a significant leap from its 817th position last year, marking a rise of 477 places. This achievement places the Vietnamese conglomerate among the world's top 400 companies and solidifies its status as the only Vietnamese company to be recognized on this prestigious list for two consecutive years.
The ranking, conducted by TIME and Statista, evaluates companies across three dimensions: revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and sustainability transparency. Vingroup's overall score of 81 reflects strong performance in all areas. In revenue growth, the company received an "Outstanding" rating, with consolidated net revenue reaching VND 222.9 trillion in the first half of 2026, up 72% year-on-year. Profit after tax surged to VND 20.904 trillion, 4.6 times higher than the same period last year.
Employee satisfaction also saw a remarkable improvement, with Vingroup ranking 398th globally, up 496 places from 2025. The group's dynamic work environment and focus on individual development have been key drivers. Furthermore, Vingroup's sustainability efforts, including green transition initiatives and sustainable urban development, contributed to its high ranking. VinFast, the group's electric vehicle brand, has become Vietnam's leading automotive brand by sales volume and aims to deliver 300,000 cars and 1 million electric motorcycles globally in 2026. Vinhomes has pioneered the ESG++ urban model, raising standards for sustainable development.
This recognition matters because it highlights Vingroup's successful expansion into new strategic areas such as infrastructure and green energy. Through VinSpeed, high-speed railway projects like Ben Thanh – Can Gio and Hanoi – Quang Ninh are under construction, while VinEnergo is developing energy projects across multiple localities. These initiatives contribute to regional connectivity, economic expansion, and the acceleration of the green transition. The group now operates in 12 countries and employs approximately 400,000 people worldwide.
Vingroup's ascent in the rankings also underscores Vietnam's growing presence on the global economic stage. As the first and only Vietnamese company to qualify for the World's Best Companies ranking, Vingroup sets a benchmark for other Vietnamese enterprises. Its success demonstrates that Vietnamese companies can compete at the highest levels globally, driven by innovation, sustainability, and robust growth strategies.
