Jan Goetgeluk, CEO of Virtuix Inc. (NASDAQ: VTIX), recently appeared on Benzinga’s All Access to discuss the company’s recent IPO and its flagship product, the Omni One VR treadmill gaming system. The company reported 138% year-over-year growth, underscoring strong consumer demand for immersive virtual reality experiences that combine physical activity with gaming.
“It's an exciting time for us,” Goetgeluk said during the interview. “We reported 138% year-over-year growth. So we’re growing and we are ready to scale.” The Omni One system allows players to physically walk, run, and move through virtual worlds, offering a unique blend of entertainment and exercise. Goetgeluk noted that one customer lost 40 pounds in four months using the system, highlighting its health benefits.
With fresh capital from its IPO, along with an $11 million investment from Chicago Venture Partners and a $50 million equity line of credit, Virtuix is well-positioned to fund its growth initiatives. Goetgeluk emphasized that the company plans to enter new markets, including the defense sector, where immersive training simulations could provide significant opportunities. The company’s focus on scaling production and expanding its customer base aligns with its triple-digit revenue growth trajectory.
Virtuix’s Omni One has resonated with consumers seeking more active gaming experiences, differentiating the company in the competitive VR hardware market. As the company scales, it aims to leverage its proprietary technology to capture a larger share of the growing virtual reality and fitness gaming segments.
